The Capacity building Cycle was composed of 4 workshops, each one taking place in the 4 CDA by turns on different topics. CDAs’ role in community empowerment was the main theme of workshop held in Abu el Nomros on 19th June, 2007.
El Saff: capacity building workshop
A workshop on Gender Awareness was organized on 10th May in Desamy, a community known for the great female participation to the association activities. Followed the 7th June in El Saff where the main theme was Youth Employment. Abu Ragwan hosted the last seminar of the cycle on Environmental Care, with the kind participation of WESC, Wadi Environmental Science Center. Each CDA took part actively at the organisation of the events with the result of having a wide participation from the communities themselves. In particular, CDAs leaders meet others representatives with similar problems and expectations having the opportunities to better understand strengths and weaknesses in their management methods and exchange good practices.
