Future Women for Delicious Food

Starting from February 2005, in occasion of the Hagar al Nour Library opening, the cafeteria premises have been hosting the Kitchen activities . A group of 11 women, with an expert Italian cook as technical support, have met to prepare a working plan for catering services, including a theoretical phase of hygiene lectures and kitchen managing methods, as well as several practical sessions. The second phase focused on the creation of a business plan, in order to establish an independent enterprise, with the name of “Future Women for Delicious Food ”. The enterprise now offers catering service for internal training sessions, cultural events and other project activities, as well as to external customers. The CDA structure includes a cafeteria which opens in the evening hours, offering drinks, availability of table games and entertainment.
