After the past year’s efforts in the field of environmental education, Abu el Nomros CDA has shared this month with the community, the international environment day, organizing a rich program of activities promoted by Hagar el Nour Library.
Environment Day
The event has taken place in the main street of Abu el Nomros with a great participation of youth and children: four active groups were in charge with cleaning up different areas of the village while others were distributing to shops, garbage bins and plastic bags with the CDA and Hagar el Nur logos. Posters with the slogan “Protect the environment…Protect your self” were hanged on the walls of Abu el Nomros. Moreover, an olive tree was planted in front of each house of the main street as a permanent sign of a new environmental awareness that we hope will spread all over the community.
