On Friday, June 11, 10am–7pm, the district of Sharabeya hosted another environmental campaign, moving forward in the upgrading process of the Mubarak Garden. The event was organised by COSPE’s Northern Cairo Project in collaboration with different actors from the local community, and represented a contribution to the World Environment Day 2010 worldwide activities. read more »
The week of 18-25 April 2010 was marked by two new events organised under the aegis of COSPE’s “Northern Cairo” Project. On Wednesday the 21st and Friday the 23rd of April, the districts of Sharabia and Sahel, respectively, witnessed the culmination of two parallel environmental campaigns, the first events of this kind to be held in these parts of the city. read more »
This garden has been rehabilitated in the framework of the project “Poverty Alleviation and Environmental Enhancement in Northern Cairo”. The event will be held in the Sami el Baroudi School in the Abou Douma area. read more »
On the next 5th of June, on the occasion of the 2009 World Environmental Day, citizens of Cairo North who will take METRO and buy a ticket will get a small gadget reporting information about the World Environmental Day and other environmental issues. read more »
